This photograph was taken in 1879. Joannes Constantienus Miseur Family,  Kinmundy, IL ; Immigrated from Houwaart, Brabant, Belgium in 1872. Front standing, Mary Barbara, b. 28 Dec 1874 - Kinmundy, IL, d. 10 Dec 1929 - Shelby Co., Pana, IL. Seated left to right: Peter Simon, b. 18 May 1858 in Houwaart, Constantienus, b. 25 Sep 1833 in  Houwaart,  Henry on mothers knee, b. 02 Apr 1878 - Kinmundy, IL,  d. 26 May 1916 - Pana, IL. and Juliana VanEmelen Mizeur, b. 06 Nov 1835. Hauwaart d. 1 Nov 1883, Kinmundy (she was buried on Nov. 3, 1883). Standing in back left to right: Lewis, b. 10 Feb 1869 , Charles, b. 1868 , Frank, b. 7 May 1863  and John, b. Jan 1871.  All four were born in Belgium.

The Mizeur's (Miseur's - Belgium spelling) came to this country in about 1872-3.  They lived West of Kinmundy on 40 acres until about 1884-85. After Julianna's death they moved to the Pana area. The Miseur's had three known children who died. They are not pictured and were born in Houwaart, Brabant, Belgium. They are Franciscus, b. 4 May 1861 - d. bef 1863; Susanna, b. 23 Jun 1865 - d. bef 1872; Carolus Franciscus, b. 21 May 1866 - d. bef 1872..
